Accounting Officer – geevo® (Larnaca - Cyprus) 11038_CYADM052025

The company is seeking to hire a bright, ambitious Accounting Officer for its offices in Larnaca. Essential Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Accounting or Finance or related field.

· Up to 5 years of experience in similar position, with strong knowledge of maintaining and posting Trial Balance accounting records.

· Prior experience with Accounting/CRM/ERP system(s).

· Proficiency in all MS Office applications, with advanced skills in Excel. 


The candidate should be able to demonstrate:

 · Excellent command of the English and Greek language, both verbal and written. Other languages would be considered an advantage.

· Team spirit and excellent problem-solving abilities. 

· Strong attention to detail and high degree of accuracy.

· Ability to communicate with impact and excellent telephone manner.


Duties:

· Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop and maintain annual budgets and financial forecast models to support strategic, long-term planning.

· System(s) Implementation: Assist with the rollout of financial systems that enhance departmental operations and performance.

· Bookkeeping: Ensure accuracy of accounting records and oversee day-to-day bookkeeping activities.

· Discrepancy Resolution: Investigate and resolve inconsistencies in financial records or transactions.

· Ledger Management: Ensure all transactions are correctly recorded in the appropriate ledgers.

· External Coordination: Liaise with external service providers for Payroll, Tax, and VAT to ensure compliance and smooth operations.

· Audit Support: Collaborate with auditors by providing necessary documents and explanations to support external audits.

· Invoice Management: Review and reconcile invoices, ensuring alignment with agreements and confirming payment processing.

· Account Reconciliations: Prepare and maintain reconciliations for bank accounts, payables, and other key accounts.

· Cash Flow Support: Assist in the preparation of daily cash flow statements to ensure strong liquidity management.

· Record Keeping: Organize and maintain financial records through effective document management practices.

· Operational Support: Provide support for various back-office functions as required.

· Ad-Hoc Reporting: Create and manage reports tailored to management’s specific needs.
